Community Outreach
Our focus at Deep River is all about building community, having fun, and helping others, a standard we proudly keep and work to build upon. We hold numerous fundraisers throughout the year to benefit a variety of causes that are an important part of the Central Carolina community. In addition to the charities listed below, Deep River supports and has fundraised for, The Boy Scouts, the USO, The Sanford Chamber of Commerce, Camp Oak Hill, Tunnel to Towers, and many more. We even throw pink clays the month of October (Breast Cancer Awareness Month), a portion of each going to support cancer research. Many organizations come to Deep River Sporting Clays to add the "fun" to their fundraiser.

At the heart of Deep River lies a simple yet powerful missing: to offer rest, build community, and help others.
This isn't just a statement – it's our daily commitment to each other.
Our community spans over five hundred members and their families, along with thousands of annual visitors who become part of our extended family. Life's journey brings both joys and challenges, and we've learned that sometimes our members face difficult moments quietly – an illness, the loss of a loved one, or personal struggles that go unshared.
The "Let's Pull Together" Care Ministry was born from this understanding. We believe no member of our family should face life's challenges alone. Whether it's offering prayers, providing support, or simply being there to listen, we want to create an open channel of communication that allows us to respond when our community members need us most.
While we proudly continue our support of various charitable causes – thanks to your generous contributions – "Let's Pull Together" represents something more intimate. It's about the personal connections that make Deep River special. It's friends helping friends, neighbors supporting neighbors, and our community showing up for each other in meaningful ways.
We're here for you, day or night, just a phone call away. Because that's what family does – we pull together.

Make new friends in a fun and non-competitive atmosphere. $5 (in addition to regular shooting fees) gets you a raffle ticket for a case of shells, and lunch as well. The $5 goes to whichever quarterly charity we are currently raising funds for. (each guest you bring that is new to Deep River will earn you an extra raffle ticket.
